Frogmore Creek is a Pacific Rim joint venture, the owners being Tony Scherer of Tasmania and Jack Kidwiler of California. The partners have developed a substantial organically grown vineyard, and have acquired the Hood/Wellington wine business previously owned by Andrew Hood, who continues his involvement as a consultant. Winemaking has been consolidated at Cambridge, where the Frogmore Creek and 42* South brands are made, as well as a thriving contract winemaking business. |

"Like a New Zealand south island SB on steroids! Huge
grassy/dried herb aroma, and a mid-palate that would be appreciated
by Sancerre lovers. Unlike many NZ SBs, this wine is bone dry and
demands to be served with food." Exceptional, Dan
